What age is the UK Early Learning Bundle for?
The UK Early Learning Bundle is for children aged 3 to 7, which covers nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Pencil control and counting pages suit ages 3 to 4, phonics and letter formation suit ages 4 to 6, and blends, number bonds and coin pages suit ages 5 to 7. A guide in the download shows which pages to print first for each age.
Does the bundle match what my child learns at school?
The bundle covers the early reading, writing and number skills taught in England’s Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1: phonics from single sounds to split digraphs, numbers to 20, number bonds, 2D and 3D shapes and UK coins. The same skills are taught in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland under different stage names. Schools use different phonics programmes, so the order of sounds may differ slightly from your child’s school; each sound has its own page, so you can print them in any order.
Is the bundle a physical product or a download?
The UK Early Learning Bundle is a digital download and nothing is posted. After payment your download link appears on screen and is emailed to you. You print the pages on A4 paper at home, at a library or at a print shop.
How many pages are there, and do I need a colour printer?
There are 320 activity pages in ten sections, and you don’t need a colour printer. Every activity page is black and white line work, so it prints clearly on any home printer and uses little ink. Each section is a separate PDF, so you can print one section at a time.
Can I print the pages more than once?
Yes. One purchase lets you print any page as many times as you like for the children in your own household, so you can repeat a page or reuse the bundle with a younger sibling. Sharing or reselling the files isn’t allowed.
Does the bundle teach joined-up handwriting?
No. The 62 handwriting pages teach print letters and numbers with starting dots and direction arrows, not joined-up (cursive) writing. If your child’s school teaches letters with lead-in strokes from the start, the letter pages will look different from school’s, but the phonics, number and money sections will still fit.

Can I use the bundle in a nursery, classroom or tutoring business?
The £19 bundle is licensed for one household. Nurseries, childminders, teachers and tutors should email us about a setting licence.
